Ignite Student Ministries at Hood UMC is for all students grades 7-12. We are a ministry of the church that has taken it upon ourselves to be an ignition source for the glory of God to be revealed in us and through us. Below is a belief structure and mission statement we created that we believe to be what God wants from us as a ministry of His Holy Church.
What We Believe: We believe in One God, that Jesus is His only Son. We believe in the Holy Trinity, that Jesus was born to a virgin, died for all of us, and lives again in heaven. We believe there is a heaven and a hell, that the bible is God’s Word and 100% truth. We believe that good can come from bad. We believe in Hope, Forgiveness, Love, Grace, Eternal Life, and Answered Prayer. Our Mission: Our Mission Is to Tell friends and family our beliefs, to Teach them how to live for Christ, to Invite them to Experience God for themselves, and to fully Rely on Jesus Christ to be with us in all we do.
